EC responds to viral post in a big way

Inspired by a viral post, EC offers something special up until April 30, 2017.

It’s amazing how a hectic life can reach a place of harmony when an inspirational story sends a heartwarming message. A recent message such as this hailing from Australia went viral last week, and its Google momentum is expected to last into many days ahead.

In response to this special woman’s post, readers will understand towards the end of this incredible coverage why Extraordinary Conceptions was inspired to do a little something special for women thinking about becoming surrogates with their agency.

Mel Holman, a nurse and mother who lives in Australia, had no challenges conceiving her own children. When learning that other women were not as fortunate, she decided to make a change.

“I fell pregnant with my children easily. It never occurred to me that it might not be so easy for everyone. While working as a nurse, one day I came across a woman in tears. She was devastated after yet another round of failed IVF. All I wanted to do was fix it for her,” Holman wrote in her post.

Her first heartfelt mission was to become an egg donor. Years later, she stepped forward to become a surrogate. Her recent Facebook message shared her second surrogacy journey, netting the attention of media outlets, including Cosmopolitan.

“A few weeks ago I gave birth to a baby boy. This is me holding him,” writes Holman, describing the photo she included in her post. She adds, “He was perfect – a screaming newborn mess, lifted off my stomach and put gently into his Mother’s loving arms. Those arms were not mine. She’s next to me in this picture. I’m a surrogate, and he was the second baby I placed in another mother’s arms.”

For many, Holman embodies eloquence, empowerment, and empathy.

“Mel Holman’s words encompassed the true meaning of surrogacy and why women decide to take part in such a memorable journey. They are helping individuals and couples experience the love of a child who could not otherwise do so without their help,” said Mario Caballero, the CEO of Extraordinary Conceptions. “Her words triggered a response from us at Extraordinary Conceptions to offer something extra exceptional to the women that make the world a better place.”

Here’s how Extraordinary Conceptions responded.

Repeat surrogates who were with another agency (other than Extraordinary Conceptions) and prepared to do another journey starting immediately are being offered by Extraordinary Conceptions a $2,000 Visa Card Repeat Surrogate Signing Bonus. This offer starts now until April 30, 2017. This of course is in addition the complete benefits package which begins at $50,000 and up for repeat surrogates.

“Another incentive we thought of was for our current egg donors, who already have children, which meet the requirements to be a surrogate. They can earn an extra $500 in addition to our current signing bonus if they apply before April 30, 2017. Our current March bonus is a $1,000 Visa Gift Card and two Fitbits,” Caballero said. “Not many of our applicants know that they can register to be both donors and surrogates.”

Women can help make parenthood dreams come true for so many yearning to hold the child they have always wanted.

As Holman said so very beautifully, “Maybe you can’t change the world. But you can give the world to someone, and change their life.”
